We have a 4.5 month old female lab pup. She has done great in the crate since almost the day we got her 2 months ago. Has maybe had 2-3 accidents, holds all night in crate and white crated during the day. Will go pee as soon as we take her out, but the minute she is unsupervised for 2 minutes, she will pee in the house. Not the same spot, sometimes near a door but not always. I literally turn my head and she's gone pee! I have bells on the door that we ring every time I take her out, I use training treats and praise when she goes outside to pee, but she will not or cannot let us know that she needs to go out. Just drops and pees without warning in the house. Any ideas for how to get her to alert us. I take her out at least every 30 minutes when she's in the house and usually more often.

All dogs are different and they, in my experience find their own way. I had one that used to bash the front door with his paw (a70kg dog), one used to bark at the door, one used to bark at me and current dog come and prods me with her nose. I also had one that never asked at all, she just went when we let her out. However, they did all this after quite some age. I think as long as they are let out frequently and rewarded they will get there in the end. At your pups age their bladder is still developing so stick with what you are doing and you will see an improvement slowly.
