Of course he is still in his puppy stage, but we are really struggling keeping him off the couch. I know some choose to let them on their furniture, but just not our preference. We were told not to use training treats for this one and just a firm OFF will do the trick. Remaining consistent and not "losing it", but it's just not working for us. We cant sit on the couch very often unless its sleep time. Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

We found that putting some tinfoil on the furniture helped to curb the interest in jumping up on it. We also used to spread out empty laundry baskets. Over time she lost interest in going on the furniture with these obstacles.

Oh let him on the couch. It's a great civilising influence.

Loki loses his living room privileges if he tries to get on the sofa and gets taken back to his bed in the kitchen. The message took a long time to get through but he understands now.
I'd let him on the furniture myself but he's so overexcited by it it's just not relaxing for anyone.
