Has anyone had this operation performed on their dog? my dog is 2 and suffering a lot with her ears, currently they are so inflamed that she has no air flow at all. After suffering a ear and no results with various medication, foods, treatments and ear flushing they are now suggesting to remove the ear canal completely to take away the problem. Just after some advice if anyone had been through it before
Sounds miserable for her. Hopefully she will pick up really quickly from the op and you can put it behind you. My dog had his ear flap removed. 2 weeks with a cone and he was absolutely fine. Let us know how she gets on.
