i have a 15 month old male Silver lab. He has some sores on his inside leg and I was wondering if anyone out there has any suggestions as to what this might be causing these sores. The vet wants to do allergy testing but thought I would reach out to the community first. Thank you
Had a similar issue with a Labrador I had back in the 1980's. Had the allergy tests done and they didn't indicate an allergy problem. Actually got much worse than what you describe with your Labrador. I thought my Labrador had contracted the Mange it had became that bad. Turned out it was Eczema. Vet had me start using salmon oil in her her kibble and about 30 days her rash went away and her coat became thicker and shiny.
