Our 20 month old black lab has been a complete joy to have. He is the funniest and is usually very sweet. He also was fixed at 15 months. We still have moments where out of the blue most of the time he gets the zoomies still and he will play bite, we have never let him do this but he still tries to do it. Sometimes he gets so wound up, usually when he starts to get rowdy and bite (which is never hard but still don't like it), we always give him a command to do like sit or lie down but it takes him a while before he will listen all the while still jumping and lightly biting. I should add that he only does it to us, he has never done this with company or anyone else and he is around other people a lot. Is it best to get him into another room for a time out when he does this?

My Pup is is also 20 months, and goes in to zoomies almost everyday. This is the age where they get a little rebellious and test your limits. She is crated trained, and when it happens I ask her 'Time Out?' and tap on her crate. She will either go in to the crate or settle down. Treats work great to get their focus and settle down (click to calm, as the trainers say)
