    Hi all

I wanted to ask is it true that labs dont make Chewbacca noises?

My dads german shepherds and his gordon setter all make these Chewbacca noises when excited, frustrated ect. But my aunts labs have never made this noise and iv spoken with friends who have labs and they all say the same that they dont make this noise.

Is this true? Does or doesn't your lab make these noises? And if they do how loud is it, is it louder than or quiter than barking?

Had to google that and it frightened the life out of Toby who was sat next to me.
He turns his bark into a noise that sounds like he is trying to talk if there is someone at the door and I decide not to answer it. More of a whine/yawn than this though.

Cooper has a lot of different barks. One of them has a howl at the end.

My girl does this also. I mostly hear her do it when she really wants her chihuahua sister to play with her (not happening). It is more of a whine or pleading and sounds just like Chewbacca, cracks me up.

Yes my 2 year old has done this since she was a puppy. It is when she gets excited and wants to go for a walk or wants you to play with her ball.
