Hi all! Which indoor pens do you all recommend? There are quite a few to choose from. Is there one kind better than the other? I have wood floors so the metal ones may not be the best but the plastic ones seem like they would easily pushed over by a growing puppy. We have a crate for her as we will be crate training but I don’t want to leave her in there for any extended periods of time.
Hi there, I use the Elie Bo heavy duty pens like this one You definitely need one with some weight to it. Especially if you intend to leave your puppy in it unsupervised. If you are worried about the floor you could probably stick some of those little felt circles to the bottom, but I haven't noticed any damage from mine.
I used one that is a bit lighter, from Petco https://www.petco.com/shop/en/petcostore/product/precision-pet-black-ultimate-exercise-pens The one we have is 30" tall, and while my dog could have gotten out easily she never tried. We recently used it opened out in a line to separate our kitchen from the rest of the house during a remodel. The pen worked fine for that also, but some dogs might not respect the boundary. Ours did and it worked fine.
