Hi Sorry missed this when you posted it. Have you been to the vet since I think it needs looking at. My dog had something very similar on his ear and it turned out to be nasty. Not saying this is but have it looked at. Please come back and let us know.
Yep, that's what it looks like. My Chocolate male had this on and off for almost 2 years. You need to keep it clean, make sure he never scratches at it and put some topical anti-bacterial cream on it daily. It will come and go until eventually his immune system will be able to fight it off. Have your vet check it out for sure though.
