I am picking up my puppy on Saturday. She is a female yellow lab that I have named Piper. I haven't had a puppy in quite a few years so I have been doing a lot of research and I have just finished reading The Happy Puppy Handbook. I have become disabled in the past year so I will have plenty of time to devote in training and loving my new friend, of course I am sure I will have a few obstacles to overcome considering my disability but I will adapt. I am sure to be back on the forums in the future seeking advice and to also share my experience. Wish me luck. I will share pictures of her later in the weekend.
