We have had Cody on James welbeloved for a few years now. However the price has gone up from about £35 for 15kg to anywhere between £42-£46 a bag.

Due to this increase and lack of discounts/promos of late I looked for an alternative but that was still rated highly.

Cody was eating turkey and rice flavour.

I bought skinners salmon & potato for a change and at £20 for 15kg but show the same 68% goodness of the dog food comparison site.

However less than a week in he isn't eating the food and his poos are much looser.

We get through 15kg every 5-6 weeks.

It looks like we are going to have to go back to JWB but i would really welcome any ideas.

I would have brought the skinners turkey variety but it was for joints and Cody doesnt have any issues there.

We feed Meg JWB after having many dogs on different foods over the years we have settled on this. She is fit, lean, shiny coat and firm minimal poos. I think we pay about £42 for it but if you get it from pets at home with their loyalty card I usually get at least £2 pounds or more off it. That said it works out about £8 a week which is not bad at all really. I find cheaper foods are a bit of a false economy.

Thankyou for that link. I used to have the offer on repeat orders with Zoopla and then thry stopped doing it which was annoying.

Pur pets at home sell it for £44 most of the time so will look at that link 1st

    Thankyou both

I looked at the link and they add £4.99 delivery so I've had to go back to pets at home.

Still going to be on the hunt for a suitable alternative in due course

My last pets at home voucher was 20% off plus a £2 voucher ! Can’t grumble at that.
