    Hello,
My 8 month lab puppy has started not eating all her food.
When I put it down in the morning she eats a tiny bit then runs to find me - and repeats a bit of a process of eating a little every now and again- resulting in her leaving at least half a bowl.
Last night I got her old tiny puppy bowl out and she at two bowls full without being fussed, so did wonder if it’s just the amount- but she has been on a similar portion for over a month?
I read that it may be the start of fussy eating as she was happy to eat anything else. The advice was to not give any treats or other food but her two meals a day, and taking it away after 10 minutes till she gets used to that being just her food.
The food is in date, and the same one she has been on since she was small. So I wondered if she is just bored of it now she knows there is better food out there. (Don’t blame her!)
I wonder if anyone else has seen their puppy do this? She is such a happy little madam still and full of energy- and getting excited about everything but her kibble!
    Thank you so much
    :)

Hi - I also have an 8 month old puppy lab who, true to type, normally eats everything put in front of her and many things that are not. She has been on the same brand of dried puppy food since weaning. Two days ago I opened a new sack of exactly the same food and she turned her nose up at it. She is still doing the same, so has been given a different brand now, which she ate immediately. I’m thinking that some different ingredients may have been added, even though everything on the sack is the same as before. The food was in date. Any ideas?
