Frightened 7 month old lab girl

How can my partner help her lab she is great off the lead but as soon as she is back on the lead she

    How can my partner help her lab she is not nervous off the lead with anything or anybody or dogs but as soon as she is put on she sketches out with traffic people she has used several different leads harnesses but to no avail she doesn't reward her behaviour or say anything to she just stops and waits but as soon as she starts walking again her dogs reverts right has anyone got any tip to help her help her dog thanks

    Hi Dave Scott,
    For me, reward based training really helped when it came to socialisation and when out on walks. Nala quickly learnt that calm behaviour was rewarded, and that passing vehicles, runners, cyclists, etc are normal. I would recommend reward based training, and maybe even some training classes for your partner and her Lab.
