Hi Gill tail damage can be problematic in Labradors, as they are such enthusiastic tail waggers that that it's common for a wound to keep re-opening. Only your vet will be able to give you any idea whether or not this particular cut is likely to cause a problem. They will also be able to advise you on the best treatments and management.
