My 11 1/2 yrs old dog (Tsavo) has been diagnosed with bone cancer - osteosarcoma in the left forearm. It was 8 months ago. All of a sudden instead of living to the fullest - running, swimming chasing we had to limit his movement to prevent bone fractures. We couldn't approve a radical solution - cutting the leg so we put him on the medication (gabapentin & narcos). The vet said he will live for 2 to 3 months. 8 months later we have loving, energetic, eating (and always begging for more) dog with now every day bigger bump on his front forearm. The bump is so big that he has a growing problem to walk. I'd like to know if anyone has any advice on how to help him to walk without a radical solution - cutting his leg? Should we use prosthetics or any braces to help him or just leave as is? Any help will be appreciated. Andre
