My 10 year old male black labrador on low calorie diet cannot lose weight. Has had many blood tests normal TSH but low T3 Apparently otherwise healthy. Vet not sure about treating with a thyroid supplement, his quality of life is now less good because of his slowness and lethargy. Help please.
