Hello, I am new to the forum and really hoping for some suggestions. I have a 6 month old black female. Really a sweet puppy all in all. However she resource guards and has from the beginning. Mainly Kleenex at first but now if she has a bone or when she is eating she will growl or even snap at anyone who comes to near. I have been hand feeding for some time hoping this will help. Sadly not. This is a pretty major issue, I've had labs before and never had a problem like this. Generally such sweet tempered dogs! Hoping for help with this! Thanks in advance Danielle.
