Hi, I am getting a new lab puppy in June and really keen to take her camping and hiking during the summer, if possible!

    1. I wondered if people have taken their puppies camping before they are fully vaccinated or do I need to wait at least a week after the final vaccination?
    2. She will be too young to hike herself so would be keen to hear if anyone has experience using those backpacks to carry the puppy? Has anyone used these backpacks for a 6-month old lab?
    3. Is there any potential risk of injury for the puppy to be placed in a backpack?
    4. How long can the dog be in these packs before being let out to stretch its legs? Would 1-2 hours between breaks be too long?
    5. Are flat forest trails suitable for puppies to walk on by themselves (assuming a 3-4 month old lab)
    6. Is it high risk to let a puppy swim in the lake before it is fully vaccinated?
I live in British Columbia if that helps! Thanks in advance for all your advice. I grew up with dogs but I am a first time owner!
