10 month Lab. Training good, walks on loose leash. When on walk in park off leash 90% of time good recall but Suddenly rushes off to excitedly jump on someone or chase another dog. Suddenly deaf to all recall. Will she grow out if this. I train every day & she is so good in other ways

Hi there, she won't 'grow' out of it, but you can definitely 'train' her out of it.

You may need to get her used to running on a long line when you are outdoors, so that you have some control over how and when she gets rewards (such as playing with another dog)

Sometimes running away and pretending to abandon your dog (whoop and clap as you run to get her attention) can work. It will depend on how independent your dog is and how long they have been ignoring you for.

You'll probably need to retrain the recall though, with extra attention to recalling away from distractions (other people and dogs) under controlled conditions. She has got used to ignoring your cue and it no longer means 'race back to Mum' so you might need to change your cue - so if you have never used a whistle, you could start your retraining with one.

Lots more recall info here: https://www.thelabradorsite.com/train-a-puppy-or-dog-to-come/. Let us know how you get on.
