Hi, We are thinking of switching our 5 year old Black Labrador's food from Kibble to Homemade meals. Paco weighs 105 lbs. Anyone have suggestions of how much food and what type of foods are good for Labs? I can't seem to find anything on line with clear instructions. Looking for a schedule and meal proportions. Also should stop the kibble right away or gradually? Any information is much appreciated. Thanks, Victor
Hi Victor, welcome to the forum! We've written about homemade dog food for Labs over on our main site - that might be an interesting place to get started. If you decided to go ahead, replace his kibble meals gradually over the course of about a week, to prevent stomach upsets. Good luck and let us know how you get on!
