Hi everyone! I have a 12 week old little girl named Kona. She has been doing great so far. She hasn’t had a single accident in 2 weeks, and was sleeping through the night. However the last 5 nights she wakes at 330am, I take her out to potty and then straight back into crate. No playing, no treats, we keep it very boring. She doesn’t seem to have to urgently go potty at this time either, just goes because she’s out basically. After being placed back in her crate she whines for about 5 minutes then will eventually fall back asleep until 5. At 5 she will whine until one of us finally gets up, usually around 630. When she does get up all she wants to do is play or cuddle on the couch. So it’s not that she needs to go potty again. This is all brand new. We keep her crate in our bedroom, sides covered so it stays dark. Her schedule or routine hasn’t changed. I’m not sure if it could be a growth spurt or what’s going on. Any advice on how we get through this and back to sleeping all night?
Our puppy is 13 weeks and did this last week. For last night is back to his routine though of around 7 hours. We didn’t do anything different just seemed to be a phase he went through. Hopefully it will just pass!
