Hi all, (my 1st post deep breath and 1st puppy) Just looking for some advice, I have a 4.5 month old black labrador x golden retriever. He's our families 1st ever dog. I'm spending 5 days so happy with him and 2 out of my depth and anxious. We're nearly past the mouthing and biting phase and he's generally a really good dog. Last week a lurcher puppy got in his face a bit the lurcher was off leash and they both had a barking match he had a bit of meltdown tried to bite his way out of his harness and just wouldn't respond to any commands. Today he met a bulldog puppy that he's met prior when he was younger and he behaved really aggressively towards him and wouldn't snap out of it again (showing teeth growling) and acted a bit aggressive towards my daughter when she tried to pull him away. Just looking for people's thoughts. He walks on lead twice a day he meets 3-4 dogs most days and just wants to play, just worried about these occasional meltdowns are something to have concerns about.
