Any advice on stopping puppy biting the lead? She is 13 weeks, I can get her calm and leaving it alone if it's un clipped but as soon as I clip it on she won't leave it alone!

Luna done this loads when she is younger and still does it a bit now.
It was mainly because she was so excited and wanted to be in control of what way we went. It was also like she could concentrate better when holding the lead!

She now does it to tell us she still needs to toilet and where she wants to do it. We live in a flat so there we always have a little walk when we go out and if she wants to explore or toilet somewhere she will hold the lead in her mouth and look up at us as to say 'please'

Sorry I cant be any help on how to stop her biting the lead as we were lucky it was her way of communicating

Labrador jumping & biting lead on walks. There is a thread called this with a reply in the behaviour section. Maybe that will help you?
