My lab is 11 months old & no season yet. Yesterday I did see 2 spots of blood on floor but not sure if she grazed her mouth whilst eating a antlers horn. Seen nothing since. Could this be it?? Plan on getting her spayed after first season so need to be sure this is her season - or not

Hello, it will typically be quite obvious, blood, swelling , licking, male dogs interested. On that note you need to keep as vigilant as possible! It should last a few weeks, you probably won’t miss it ? See what happens over the next few days. My Gwenni was around the same age having her first season.

There may not be much blood though, and it may be diluted so it is not bright red.
