Hello. My 9wk old pup is on kibble for two meals a day and for the final meal he is on mince and veg. He has had turkey, beef and lamb so far with broccoli, cauliflower, green beans, sweet corn and carrots. What else should I try and what volume should I be feeding for a third of his diet? I have a polarising view on this subject. Unless someone is a vet or animal nutritionist I don't think they should be trying to create their own dog food. Dogs have very specific nutritional requirements, especially when they are puppies, and if you don't get it right it can cause a lot of health issues in the future. There are dozens of dog food companies that offer all-natural, human grade dog food that has been certified to contain everything a healthy dogs needs.
