From my experience I would say make sure you take puppy out even if they are asleep if you are trying to gradually increase the time they can hold their bladder. Otherwise we found our puppy can do some odd times for longer but not regularly

    Hi
So continue with alarm at 3am for a little bit and move by 15 mins every couple of days? She wakes at 5 but she will settle again normally until 6.30

Yes to the alarm. Sorry I didn’t answer your question before! I think the idea is the puppy knows once the alarm goes you will get them up. It is a really obvious cue. So they don’t need to tell you they to get up. Or some other reason! But as soon as we stopped with the alarm the puppy started waking earlier and earlier. And the key to all bladder training issues seems to be gradual increases so the puppy gets used to feeling of fullness in bladder.

    Hi!

Yes go back to setting an alarm as your wee pup isn't able to hold it in just now.
