Our 9 week old Lab puppy is a dudley and her eyes were blue, now they're a grey-green. We actually named her Blue, which isn't a problem if her eyes aren't blue anymore because we all still really like it. I was just curious if anyone thinks, from experience, that her eyes will stay green?

Hi Desert Kate welcome to the forum :) Congratulations on your new puppy!

All puppies are born with blue eyes, although some look very dark from the beginning. Dogs start to accumulate pigment in their eyes from around 7 to 8 weeks old, and you'll have a pretty good idea of Blue's final eye color by the time she reaches 12 weeks. They may get a little darker between now and then, but there's definitely no going back to blue!

I love the dudley eye color, I bet Blue is a real beauty!
