Hello, I'm Karen Arcwood. I recently adopted a labrador puppy from a breeder and was searching online when I stumbled upon probiotic chews and such. I was wondering, what does my Rosie need to be healthy? Does she need digesting chews or any of the products I stumbled upon or are those things I don't need? I want my girl to be the healthiest puppy she can be.

I would also like to ask if I am caring for her correctly. She is on Blue Buffalo Wilderness Rocky Mountain Recipe with Red Meat Puppy Grain-Free Dry Dog Food. I give her these treats: Puppy Chow Healthy Start Salmon Flavor Training Dog Treats. I hope I am taking care of her the right way, and if I am doing it wrong, feel free to tell me. Rosie is 8 1/2 weeks old, and doing well so far, but you never know. I could be giving her life problems.

Hello, if you feed a good quaility food you don't need anything else. At that age all my pup had was good quality kibble, plus maybe ham or cheese for training treats. You dont need any digestive chews. I also used part of her kibble meal allowance to train. I don't know that food as I am in the Uk, dont think you can get it here. However have a google about grain free food linking to dog heart problem. There are various food comparison website, buy the best you can afford.

Hello, thank you for your comments. Do you think my chosen food is a good, study food?

    Hi I agree with @Edp
No need for any extras. Is the kibble you are using the one the breeder weaned her onto? I’m also in the U.K. and haven’t heard of that one but you should be able to research online and find a good quality one. There will also be a list of grain free kibble to avoid.

That is a good quality one, I think. It's from a brand that's relatively well-trusted. No, the breeder weaned her on something else, and I slowly introduced the other food.
