We have a 1997 GradyWhite 208 Adventure. Our lab JayJay is 4 years old and 70 lbs and LOVES the water. Can anyone recommend a boat ladder? We are both in our mid-70s and do not have the strength to lift him from the lake into the boat. Thanks. Dave and Penni Jones
That's a challenge. We lift our dogs into a canoe or row boat, but you have a lot further to lift. I could get our 65# Lab into our Thistle when we still had it, but it still was not much of a lift. I'm guessing you don't have a swim platform on the stern. You could rig a man-overboard-boom like some sail boats have, but you would have to get connected to JayJay's PFD.
