Hi, first post here as a new member. We have a 10 week old lab /gsp cross called Otis. Overall he's been great - relaxed, toilet training a breeze, learning fast (as a first time owner we've been following Pippa's books which are wonderful). He's definitely up for biting when playing which doesn't fuss me too much as we follow the separate / withdraw attention advice which is working. I'm more worried however that occasionally (maybe once or twice a day) he seems to bite in frustration/anger if a game ends or it's time to come in from garden - basically when he's not getting his way. It's a more snappy and intense effort to bite than the play one (although still not full force). When this happens I restrain him for a few seconds silently and he calms after a brief but quite intense effort to bite. Are puppies biting in frustration a concern? Or just an equivalent of a toddler tantrum that is resolved with age / training? Some sites suggest a tantrum type bite is a greater concern.... Any thoughts/advice greatly appreciated. Matt
