Digger became less interested in his food last week, and we noticed he was short shallow breathing.
Went to the vet, chest and abdominal exrays were inconclusive, blood work all good, no diagnosis.
Monday his right eye was really red and squinting, and his face was swollen. We got no blink response . when putting our finger towards it.
and the pupil was not dialating
Called the Vet, they said bring him in now.
More bloodwork, an eye exam, no scratches or trauma and a diagnosis of uveitis, although no clear cause. Put him on prednisone pills and eye drops along with Doxycycline. That was Monday, he still has no desire for food, is drinking alot due to the prednisone which is causing peeing accidents in his sleep, eventhough he goes out hourly.
Breaks my heart because he thinks hes bad for having piddle accidents.
His eye looks horrible, hes lethargic.

We are very concerned, hes going back to the Vet in the morning.
