Hi, We have a nearly 17 week old pup who all all of a sudden seems to be nipping a lot more. I know she will be teething and some nipping Is normal but the one thing that’s worrying is sometimes as you go to pet her she does whip her head around mouth wide open and go to mouth/bite? you. She only really does it to me or my toddler (he is always supervised with her) but not to my daughter or husband it isn’t all the time either, it’s not linked to excitement or being startled etc. How am I able to stop her from doing it without making it worse? This is our first dog and I really don’t want to make her a bad tempered dog.
