Hi everyone, I'm new here, with what I expect is a problem familiar to most lab people. Hank is a 2 1/2 year old yellow lab in good health who vomits daily. Water, food, street junk, you name it. We've changed his diet numerous times with no lasting effect. We tried giving him melatonin, thinking the cause was anxiety, but he throws that up too. (I doubt it's anxiety. He'll be napping soundly, wake up to vomit, then go back to sleep.) He's loud but not angry, exuberant but not aggressive. Lately he's been vomiting late in the evening, hours after he's eaten. My vet has no answers beyond recommending blood work and scoping, an expense we've been trying to postpone. Just thought I'd ask around before we do that. Thanks in advance.

    Hi Steve,

    Welcome to the forum :)

I'm not sure anyone here is going to dare try and better the advice of a vet! I hope you find an effective treatment soon though, do let us know how Hank gets on!
