we have had our puppy for nearly a week and she is on Eukanuba puppy food. She won’t touch it as kibble so I have started wetting it and mixing with chicken, but she probably only has one meal a day and I have to hand feed most of it. She will do some training with chicken, but I am concerned she is not getting enough food. Otherwise she seems happy and playful, although is starting to sleep more and more often. Am I doing something wrong? Should I look at a different food?
I had a similar problem with my puppy for the first few days. I'm guessing it was separation anxiety, at least to some extent. A friend suggested i mix in some low sodium bone broth into his kibble, and that worked very well. Peanut butter or natural yoghurt also seem to help a lot. My pup is now 4 months old, and his meals disappear in 10 seconds flat! Good luck!
