Hi, we seem to be on a bit of a role with Rolo, in terms of getting solid advice that helps him health wise. Thanks all. A couple of other queries..... The first is to do with his back bits - his testicles. They are both dropped (thankgoodness), but just wanted to check, he is starting to lose the fur on them at seven months of age (great), and they are pink. I've had yellow and black labs before, quite a while back and their testicles turned out to be black or grey. Rolo is a choc lab are pink testicles normal at his age? The second is to do with preparing to de-crate him. There is sometime for this yet. He sleeps in his crate in the bedroom ok, at night still, and we don't intend to de-crate till he is closer to 12 months (and can be trusted to sleep on his bed, without trying to chew the suitcases under the bed (or find wires). However, how did you transition your pup from his crate to a comfy dog bed in the bedroom, without him getting confused/ wondering what is going on? What has been your experience of these two things?
