Hello everyone, yesterday on my way to pick my girlfriend’s golfcart up from the shop, we passed a dog laying in the street very close to getting hit. My girlfriend and I got out and shooed him out of the road. We continued driving and 30 minutes later we drove back on that street and the dog was still laying back in the street! He was a little weary of me as I am a large man, but he did walk up to my girlfriend after a little coaxing. He had no collar and was nowhere near any houses. We threw him in the bed and tied him down so he couldn't jump out because our doberman was in the truck with us. We drove to the nearest vet and found out he had no microchip, is about seven years old, and is severely underweight. We gave the vet our information just in case anyone comes looking for him, which, sadly, I doubt anyone will. We took him in gave him a bath and named him “Smokey”. The point of all that is with black Friday tomorrow what are some must haves for labs, and a good food to feed! We are bringing him to the vet again tomorrow.
