So sad when they are so poorly. I'm sure you will make the right decision when it's needed

So very, very sorry. It is the final gift that we can give them, but oh, so hard to give.
    Thinking of you.

When my first Lab, Biscuit (9 years) was diagnosed with a tumour on the heart, I discussed the options with the vet, but during a short walk that evening, I knew it was time to let her go. Polly (8 years) had a tumour in the mouth which had taken root in her jawbone, which My vet told me was inoperable. A month later I got a referral to Dick White's in Newmarket, and she had an operation this August, to remove the tumour, which involved the removal of a large part of her jawbone plus a reconstruction of her palate. She is back to her old self, and, this morning, she had a final consultation with the surgeon, who said there was no sign of cancer. I had an otherwise healthy, active dog, full insurance, and wanted to give her a chance.
