I have checked most of the characteristics that match the criteria about the purity of my Labrador, but my puppy straigthens its tail most of the time but vertically. Most of the quality check video state that the tail has to be straight but should not go vertically upwards or curl. Please help me check if the Labrador is pure in quality or not.
Hi, labs tails don’t usually go up or curl. They complete a continual line running off their back. I am no expert though ! However, you will only know about your dogs pedigree by buying from assured breeders where you can check their history with the kennel club, or by a DNA test. Either way he is yours now, so hope you are having lots of fun.
Are you sure he isn’t just excited? I ask because our dog has a straight tail in one continuous line from his back when he is relaxed. But when he is excited, he holds his tail up and wags it in circles!
