Hi All, I just lost my beautiful yellow lab Cinnamon this week, August 4th. I know it has been only a few days but my home is incredibly quiet without her by my side. Everywhere I go in the house I can hear her footsteps walking towards me and I wait several seconds for her to come lay down by me at my desk but then I realize she is no longer with me. I have had wonderful pets in the past but this dog was truly my best friend. I cannot stop thinking of her and I wanted to find somewhere to share my feelings to help me even a little. Just talking about her makes me feel so much better. I am happy I found this site, I LOVED and miss my Lab dearly. I look at pictures and think back to all the wonderful walks we had and I wish those days could come back. Anyone that has owned a lab or is thinking about owning a lab is or will be truly blessed. Cinnamon know that daddy loves you and misses you so very much!!
So sorry to hear you have lost your friend. Our dogs' lives are always too short. I hope in time that your lovely memories will be a comfort to you.
