Hi! I’m soon to be a new lab dad and am leaning toward using Purina Pro Plan dry food. Does anyone else use this for your labs and it so, what meat variety? I see they large breed puppy is chicken but then they also have lamb and also salmon but they don’t specify on the bag “large breed puppy” although my understanding the salmon and lamb are for pups of all sizes. I had thought about using lamb or salmon since chicken can cause allergies...So my question is for the PPP users is what meat variety do, or did you, feed your lab as a puppy? Thanks!

    Hi there :)

Not a Purina household here I'm afraid but I just wanted to say welcome to the forum, and congratulations on your puppy!

What did your breeder have your puppy on?

Mine was weaned on Purina pro plan puppy large breed but we had constant problems with upset stomach. I think that is just Toby and his allergies though. Be guided by the breeder initially.
