Hi all, Our 10 month old has started being a bit stiff on his front right leg. He’s not showing signs of pain if the leg is extended, his paw points forward and not outwards, he’s more than happy to run around like a maniac, the stiffness seems to be there most of the time not just after rest but I’m concerned it might be elbow dysplasia. We initially thought we might have worked him a bit too hard playing ball in the mud with him but it’s been 2 days since we stopped throwing (although still taking him on 2 x 40min off lead walks a day). We were going to wait another 2 days then get him checked over. Has anyone had anything similar that turned out to be a good outcome and not elbow dysplasia? Or does this sound too typical of ED?
I have no experience but I would have thought it might help to rest him for a few days and see if it improves.
