    Hi.
I’ve got a 14 week old charcoal lab called Chester. Chester is in proportion and nice and healthy, but... he is only 5kg! We got him small at 8 weeks (I can see his first vet check weighed him at 1.5kg at 7 weeks). He is growing nicely about 2lbs a week but if I follow feeding guidelines I should be feeding him approx 350g which I think is too much for his body. If I feed to weight then it’s about 250g (50g per kilo of weight).
Anyone else with a smaller lab can give some advice ? Thanks

Don't worry about the guidelines on the food; feed the dog in front of you. If she is well covered and growing well, then keep doing what you are doing. Increase gradually as she grows. If she looks a bit lanky, feed her more. If she's getting porky and has looser stools, feed a little less.
