Does anyone have experience of curing (or tips for coping with) car sickness you can share please?

Our 10 month old lab has suddenly got worse again. It started at 5 months old when we took her on a 2 hour journey. Since then we have only taken her for 5 to 10 minute drives a couple of times a week - the drooling seemed to have stopped and she is willing to jump into the car. All seemed to be going well. We then didn’t take her in the car for two weeks while she has been on heat but at the weekend took her for a 20 minute drive to see my mother for Mother’s Day (outside & socially distanced as we are still in lockdown restrictions). She was horribly sick on the way back. She is still on heat by the way if that is relevant.

    Does travel sickness medication work?

Any help or advice is really appreciated - thank you in advance!

My colleague's dog had terrible motion sickness. He needed to go for long car rides to visit family and ended up getting meds from the vet Maybe worth a shot?

Forgot to mention that the meds worked really well for his dog... think she basically slept most of the way

Thank you - that’s helpful. Maybe if we get medication and she does sleep, it may show her that riding in the car isn’t such a big deal? ...will give it a try when we need to do a longer journey
