Hi, We have been having trouble finding a reliable cordless vacuum cleaner that can deal with dog hairs. I wondered if anyone here has experience of and would recommend one? We understand the Shark and Dyson are supposed to be quite good, and we've reached the point now that we will spend what we have to to get a cordless one that is consistent, reliable and actually works! Can anyone recommend a make and model they're happy with?

A hand vac or Floor vac? For hand vacs I would go to a tool store and look for Ryobi, Makita, Milwaukee etc. I would avoid any vac that does not have removable battery like most power tools.

We have a Dyson. They're pricey but work well.

I have a cordless dyson for quick day to day clean ups and I use my corded dyson for better deeper weekly clean as it’s much more powerful.

    Hi,

We had a Dyson and it broke and replaced it with the shark (half the price)...
As mentioned it's great for daily cleans but I still use a corded cleaner for deep cleaning.

I also use my Dyson for my lab after bath but it's not that strong compared to when using a wire but it still works especially if your dog is too excited.
