Hi there I’ve posted before about my lab Zola. She had a hairline fracture in her right toe diagnosed around 8 weeks ago. We done over 5 weeks rest in doors. We tried to rest as much as possible but she bundles of energy and it was hard indoors with her sometimes. We are back to walking now started off at 10 minutes twice daily and then increased 5 mins each week. She’s been getting these walks and a little off lead for around 10mins every so few days. No limp that I’ve noticed. However her toe is still swollen in relation to her other paw. My vet told me to just keep an eye. I guess I’m worried if there would be any long term effects of her paw still being swollen. Was looking for other people’s experiences with this. Thank you.
