Hi everyone, I joined this site several years ago when my parents and I got a chocolate lab, Jasper. Jasper is now 3.5 years old! I am here once again as my partner and I got a puppy of our own. We got him at 8 weeks old. He is an English yellow lab and his name is Maple. People always mistake him for a female, due to his name. But his name is perfect for him (his parents had tree names, he was born in the fall, and he's yellow. So it's fits so well!). He is now 5.5 months old, very smart, calm (for a lab lol), and loves every human and animal on this planet... a little too much. He loves cuddles, kisses, and fetch! Right now the poor little guy has a few medical issues going on: colitis (caused by possible giardia), conjunctivitis, and a rash on his stomach. The vet suspects he likely got these issues from daycare (not surprising!). He has a ton of medication, but his problems are improving by the day. Despite his few minor issues, he is still a happy, go-lucky little guy!
