Hi, my lab puppy is 6months old, I was just looking for some advice on how much I should walk her? In the week we take her out for about 20mins 3 times a day but of a weekend we were considering longer walks of around 5km, is this too much? At what age can she start to run too, I think 6months is too young? Any guidance would be much appreciated : ) thank you!

Hi Ruth, welcome to the forum :)

At 6 months old, she still needs very little in terms of walks. This article on our main site explains more.

It's a great age to use short walks as an opportunity to teach and reinforce good leash walking behavior though!
