Our 5 year old yellow lab has started eating others dogs poop on his single weekly visit to his canine creche. He doesn't do it anywhere else or on walks so we are thinking its not a diet issue, he has Royal Canin kibble, but more likely stress or some kind of behavioural issue. He probably shares the space with another 10-15 dogs. Any thoughts or ideas to make him stop, we don't want to muzzle him as that would stress him even more and probably not work anyway.

My last lab ate her own poop and others poop too.

I understand that they learn it from there Mom and think it's normal... :(

    Totally disgusting!!

    She eventually stopped doing it!

While we find it disgusting it doesn't appear to be harmful. Here's hoping it's just a phase!

I have two spayed female German shepherd, each around a year old or so. We got the second one (Rosie) about a month ago, and we have had Heidi since she was 10 weeks old. They're buddies now, after a somewhat rocky start. There's just a few small issues.
