Hello everyone. Just joined the forum to get advice and read your helpful views. We have just been able to move our pup from our bedroom further down the landing . It’s taken 5 weeks. It seems she’s got to be near us at all times!
We have tried to get her downstairs but she whines and howls at the stair gate. It seems any barrier is a problem. We can’t zip up her fabric crate as she goes mental. To carry her up and down stairs for toileting at night has got to stop as I will not be able to lift her. After going for a wee at 4-5am she will not go back to bed and whines at the side of our bed until lifted up in to the bed. One night I took her back to her own bed 25 times! I gave up.
Any advice as to how I can stop the separation anxiety please? I will get a bit part in the walking dead soon with my zombie looks.
