Slip tie

    Anyone have experience of this? My bitch had one yesterday.... trying again tomorrow. Advice welcome!!

    I'm not sure what advice you need, but a pregnancy can result from a slip tie.
    Was your girl progesterone tested? It may be that she was too early or past ovulation.

    She wasn’t progesterone tested. I wonder if we missed it. She’s a maiden bitch and just seemed to want to sit down. We’ll see. Was hoping for advice on how to avoid it happening again the next time.... but now she’s home, I guess some positivity would be helpful!!

    I would suggest progesterone testing next time and taking her to an experienced stud with an experienced stud owner who should be able to achieve a mating if her time is right.
