Sometimes not very often but when it happens I want to hit the roof. Lacey lays down. Sometimes awake sometimes dozing she just lays there and pees. She makes no move to get up or stop. She just slightly trembles and looks over to me. Because usually it’s in my bed. She doesn’t make any other accidents in the house but this one is in between driving me crazy and worrying me. Please help. I’ll try any and all things. I don’t want to keep her in her kennel all the time. I like her laying with me as I got her to be my support dog. Thank you. Susan and Lacey.

Has this been going on for a while or is this recent? The reason I ask is maybe she has a UTI?

Agree with Martha. Get her checked at the vets.

Take her out before she goes to bed with you and also as soon as she lays down in the areas she's peed in before.

Make sure you use an enzymatic cleaner on your bedding/ mattress / soiled areas in case she can smell where she went previously.

The last couple months. At first it was just potty training issues but then she would be laying on the bed beside me then just pee. She would shake and look at me. It isn’t a fear shake. She’s never been hit kicked or yelled at. I’m not sure it’s a uti because she has no symptoms of one.

My girl was having accidents and I knew she was having an issue because she would always ask to go outside to do her business. She would squat and pee right in front of me. It turned out it was a UTI. She may be shaking because of pain when she has to urinate.

If you have ever had a UTI you will know the pain comes at the end of urination. The fact she shakes at the end is a pretty good indication that is the problem. She will need antibiotics from the vets to clear it.

Ty all I will take her to the vet. I guess I’m not to old to learn or take good advice I ask for. She means the world to me so I’ll get her the help she needs
